I have an easy recipe for Vanilla Scones. They can be made the morning of or night before. You can make them any flavor you wish because they’re made with coffee creamer, but I prefer this vanilla version. That’s right, good old coffee creamer will make these the tastiest scones you’ve ever had.
Ingredients
Scones
2cupsflourself-rising
3tbspsugar
5tbspbuttermelted
1cupvanilla coffee creamer
Glaze
3tbspbuttermelted
1cuppowdered sugar
3tbspcreamer
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 F
Mix flour, sugar, butter and creamer. Place in buttered scone pan or 9-inch round cake pan. If using cake pan, score dough into triangles
Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown
To make glaze: Mix melted butter, powdered sugar and creamer then drizzle over warm scones
Notes
Tip: If baking scones night before, make glaze in morning and heat scones in microwave then drizzle glaze on top. If making scones in morning, let scones cool while making glaze.
