Let’s talk savvy fire pits for a minute. It’s fire pit season, which means everybody is enjoying roasting hot dogs and making s’mores. Just about every get-together is now around a fire pit instead of the grill. Honestly, I love a good fire pit; the glow of the fire and the smell of the smoke is enticing but the same old s’mores can get a little boring. So why not change things up a bit?
All you have to do is this one thing and you too can be the hostess with the most-est. That one thing is before your fire pit party, go to your favorite grocery store and buy a variety of large cookies from the bakery section – don’t forget to pick up some marshmallows, too!
Use the cookies instead of graham crackers and you will make the most delicious S’Mores Whoopie Pies. If you are a guest to a fire pit party, bring some cookies along with you and you’ll be the guest everybody is raving about. It’s so easy and yet so clever at the same time. Now that’s what I call savvy and not boring s’mores!
